1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Bad Mole, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Bad Mole is a browser whack-a-mole game offering guest play, Classic challenges, puzzle games, story adventures, game scores, virtual coins, level progress and cosmetic items. Signed-in players can publish public comments. Players can optionally import music for local browser playback. Features may change as the game is tested, improved and expanded.
3. Guest play and accounts
Guest play does not require an account and normally stores progress only in the browser. Clearing browser data, changing devices or reinstalling software may remove guest records.
All Classic scenes, solo puzzle games and story modes are open to guests. Normal chapter progression and game-coin cosmetic unlocks still apply. Guests can read world rankings and comments. Accounts are required to submit server-verified scores, publish comments, save eligible new play online and use account-based multiplayer features. Earlier guest scores and coins are not automatically imported into an account; local and online coins are separate.
Optional registered accounts currently use email verification-code authentication. Google Sign-In is not enabled in this release. You are responsible for maintaining control of your email account and for activity performed through your Bad Mole account.
4. Fair play
You may not manipulate requests, alter server-issued game schedules, automate gameplay, exploit defects, falsify results, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use another player’s account without permission. We may reject invalid results, remove improperly obtained virtual items, limit access or suspend accounts involved in abuse.
5. Virtual items
Coins, cosmetic items, unlocks and similar game elements are limited, revocable rights within Bad Mole. They are not money, stored value, cryptocurrency or property, and cannot be exchanged for cash unless a future feature expressly states otherwise. Current prototype items are earned or redeemed only through game functions.
6. Acceptable content and conduct
You must not use Bad Mole or its account functions to transmit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing or harmful material. Bad Mole must not be used to create, host, distribute, promote or facilitate non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery.
Player comments are public. You retain responsibility for the text you publish and give Bad Mole permission to store and display it as part of the service. You may delete your own comments; administrators may remove comments to moderate the service. Deletion and retained metadata are explained in the Privacy Policy. Only import music you are entitled to use. Imported audio stays in your browser; clearing site data or changing browsers can remove it.
7. Intellectual property
The Bad Mole name, original game code, original artwork, characters, interface, sound design and written materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow personal use of the service; they do not transfer ownership or permit redistribution, reverse engineering beyond rights granted by law, or commercial reuse of Bad Mole assets.
8. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, add, remove or rebalance features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent retention of prototype data, or compatibility with every browser or device. We will use reasonable care when making changes that affect registered-player records.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect players, comply with law, address security incidents or respond to material violations of these terms. Players may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bad Mole is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Bad Mole is not responsible for losses caused solely by a player’s device, browser-data deletion, unavailable third-party identity provider, or unauthorized use resulting from failure to protect account access.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules in a player’s country of residence remain unaffected.
